I was very excited to shoot a cover for the great album of Jesca Hoop, “The House that Jack built”.
This American singer and songwriter who settled in Chorlton was described by her early mentor, Tom Waits, as a four-sided coin, an old soul, a black pearl, a good witch or a red moon, and I've got to experience all of that during the shoot!
The flavour of the album and the LP covers were preserved in a dreamy fairy tale concept reminiescent of the strong infuence of the sleeplife on her music creations.
I also shot press release images which relate to the songs on her new extraordinary album.
